Dr Cian McDermott is the Director of Emergency Ultrasound Education and a Consultant in Emergency Medicine in the Mater University Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. He spent several years in Melbourne, Australia working in Emergency Medicine and specialising in point of care ultrasound. He is an Associate Clinical Professor role with University College Dublin, School of Medicine.
Cian is accredited in level 2 transthoracic echocardiography with the European Society of Cardiovascular Imaging. He also holds a Certificate in Clinician Performed Ultrasound accreditation with the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine.
