Sarah Edwards

Sarah is a PEM Consultant at St Mary’s Hospital, London where she is lead consultant for resident doctor education and also the highly successful Hospital at Home service, PATCH. Sarah has been story-writing with Team PEMadventures since 2018.  Alongside her passion for medical education, Sarah has a longstanding interest in child mental health and recently co-led (with fellow PEMadventurer Dani Hall) in development of the simulation bank for the new and highly acclaimed CYP-APEX course which is being rolled out by ALSG. She feels strongly that we can improve the acute care experience for children and young people in mental health crisis by creating parity of esteem for staff training across mental and physical health emergency presentations, with high quality, standardised courses that can be made accessible to all.
