Eddy Lang

Dr. Eddy Lang is a Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, and the past Department Head for Emergency Medicine in the Calgary Zone of Alberta Health Services. His research focuses on health services, operations, and evidence-based approaches to improving emergency care. He is a senior editor for the Canadian Journal of Emergency Medicine and has published widely on topics ranging from clinical practice guidelines to reducing low-value care. Through his academic and leadership contributions, Dr. Lang has made significant contributions to the field of academic emergency medicine, both nationally and internationally.
