U wave

SHARE VIA:

A U Wave is an extra positive deflection at the end of a T wave and is characteristic of hypokalaemia but may be normal.

Most common causes:

  • Hypokalaemia.
  • Normal finding at slower heart rates (e.g. sinus bradycardia).
