Media coverage of the Bushfires is inescapable at the moment, not just in Australia but globally. With such emotive images and reports readily accessible how do we help parents and each other discuss this and other distressing events with children. We spoke to Liz Crowe, a clinical social worker based in the Intensive Care setting in Queensland about these difficult issues. Liz is an internationally renowned speaker on paediatric loss, grief, crisis and bereavement work and the podcast offers fantastic practical advice on supporting children at times of trauma and stress.
