Damian Roland has been a huge supported of Don’t Forget the Bubbles right from the outset. We were very fortunate to have him join the team both as a respected academic and as the chair of PERUKI. In this talk from the research track of DFTB19 Damian challenged us to think just how patients might drive research.

You can read some more of Damian’s thoughts on the missing component of clinical practice here. If you want to know what PERUKI might be working on then take a look at the result of their Delphi study.

This talk was recorded live at DFTB19 in London, England. With the theme of  “The Journey” we wanted to consider the journeys our patients and their families go on, both metaphorical and literal. DFTB20 will be held in Brisbane, Australia.
