Shweta Gidwani MBBS, MRCEM, FRCEM graduated from Seth G.S. Medical College, Mumbai, India in 2002. She completed her core training in Emergency Medicine at Manchester Royal Infirmary then moved to London where she completed her Fellowship in Emergency Medicine.
She currently holds a Consultant appointment at Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust, London where she works full time in the National Health Service (NHS). She has been involved in the development of emergency care service delivery and training programs in India for seven years. She was invited to join the International Emergency Medicine section at GWU as Adj Asst Professor in 2013 where she works on the India programs. In 2018 she was award a Churchill Fellowship to research wellbeing initiatives across the world.
