Tim Horeczko

Paediatric EM Consultant & PEM Playbook Creator

Tim is an emergency physician with sub-specialty board certification in Paediatric Emergency Medicine and National Institutes of Health (NIH) training in Clinical Research.  He feels privileged to be part of the educational journey of medical students, residents, and fellows, while caring for medically underserved patients in a busy County hospital, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Tim is also an Associate Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, and the founding director of the RAD-EM program — Research Associates in the Department of Emergency Medicine — an army of premedical aspirants who help to identify and enroll subjects for various studies in the ED.  He is a leader in medical education, serving as National Faculty and American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) Representative on the Steering Committee for the Advanced Pediatric Life Support Program (APLS).
